HVAC Shop Helper

The HVAC Shop Helper works as part of a team of mechanics manufacturing duct work in the workshop under the direction of the shop foreman. Duties include the following: safely and effectively using all tools and equipment required, working closely with the shop foreman and coworkers to ensure all fabrication is completed accurately and to schedule.

HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic (FIELD WORK - ALL LOCAL)

The Sheet Metal Mechanic works with a skilled crew to install lines of duct work and HVAC equipment in the field. Duties include the following: Modifying duct work as needed in the field, accurately conducting field measurements, making sketches for duct work fabrication, safely and effectively using all tools and equipment required onsite, laying out equipment and duct work onsite, working closely with the site foreman to help schedule work, order material, and coordinate installation.

HVAC SHEET METAL FOREMAN

The Sheet Metal Foreman coordinates and supervises multiple fabrication and installation crews, managing labor hours, mentoring team members in training, and providing the support and guidance needed to complete projects on time and on budget. Safety is a top priority, as is the ability to identify, manage, and solve job site problems.

Pipe Welder

The Pipe Welder fabricates and installs industrial piping systems using a combination of teamwork, skill, and experience to ensure a quality product. Duties include the following: cutting, threading, and assembling piping, soldering copper fittings in position, hanging pipe hangers, rigging piping to be hung in position, operating forklifts, and reading blueprints.

Mechanical Drafter

The Mechanical Drafter has the following responsibilities:

  • Create accurate 2-D and 3-D HVAC drawings for fabrication and installation of duct and pipe using contract Mechanical documents (along with Structural, Architectural, and Civil plans).
  • Engage with the project manager, customer, engineer, or architect to resolve any issues relating to a drawing or model.
  • Ensure drawings are approved and communicated to the appropriate parties.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and with the level of accuracy expected.
  • Ensure that revisions to plans are reviewed and any changes are incorporated in the drawings.
  • Ensure that project managers are kept informed of any changes that are requested during the drafting process and that they are provided with the relevant information to price change orders.
  • Be the internal resource for questions relating to field drawings for projects.
  • Work closely with Shop and Field Construction Manager to ensure any special requirements for the project are communicated appropriately.
  • Participate in AIC’s Safety programs.
  • Occasional travel to job sites for field coordination.

HVAC Service Coordinator

We are looking for someone who

  • Places a strong focus on quality.
  • Has great organizational skills and is able to prioritize their own workload.
  • Participates in AIC’s Safety programs.
  • Is detail-oriented.
  • Enjoys providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ideally has prior experience in HVAC environment, with Service or Resource Coordination exposure.
